Studies On Landscape Design Of Ornamental Butterfly Gardens

Butterfly is loved by most people because of its rich colour, dainty body. It also symbolizes happiness and good luck. Varied butterfly garden appeared at home. This paper presents main researches about landscape design of butterfly garden based by reading of relevant academic literatures of butterfly and butterfly garden and the investigation of several butterfly gardens. The finding shown as:1.Through analyses many cases in china, the feature of butterfly garden exhibited as various types, enriched butterfly resources, changeable landscape. However, there are many issues, such as plant landscape, lack of facilities for butterfly introduction, also regional characteristics and culture of butterfly are not prominent.2.According the habits of butterfly, there is a comprehensive analysis about butterfly garden landscape design from site selection, region division, road design, plant design, garden facilities and culture. This paper summarized a set of complete butterfly garden landscape design theory.3.To apply theory to practice, give feasible advice for the reform of Hunan Forest Botanical Garden Butterfly Valley.
