With the rapid development of human society, the energy issues and the environment issues has become the worldwide common focus. In term of our country, the coal-fired power plant are mainly in the electric power industry of our country today and in a long period, it was decided by the unique energy pattern and the social condition of our country. Coal-fired power plant boiler production aims to constantly improve the boiler efficiency and environmental protection on the premise of safe operation, scientific and reasonable control system is the indispensable condition for the production which is also the important factors to promote the boiler’s operation more reasonable. Due to the boiler combustion control system with variable, strong coupling and large inertia characteristics, conventional control method can’t meet the higher and higher control performance requirements. Therefore, to improve the control performance of the boiler combustion system is still an effective method of transformation of power plant boiler energy conservation and environmental protection. Based on the analysis of power plant production process and dynamic characteristic, and in order to be able to adapt the change of electricity of generating unit better, the detail boiler combustion system model are established considering of the boiler turbine coordinated control model. In addition, in order to improve the control performance of the boiler combustion system, considering of the fuzzy control is a kind of no accurate control model as long as the rule of expert experience type control method. a new control method has been designed based on fuzzy theory control and tested for its control performance using the computer MATLAB simulation platform, the main controller of this method is the self-turning PID controller and the conventional feed-forward decoupling controller between the coupling circuit is replaced by the fuzzy decoupling controller which fuzzy logic rules based on the relevant expert experience.At last, through the contrast analysis of the step curves which commonly used to evaluate a control system’s control performance shows that, compared with the conventional PID control, using fuzzy logic control can make the control system get faster response and smaller overshoot, stronger stability and robustness which verified the superiority of the proposed method at the same time. The research results provides a new way of thinking to establish boiler combustion system, and at the same time, the result further provides theory basis for the production practice application of advanced control method, it is also the value of the paper.
