Equipment Selection Research Of The Stereo Garage Construction Project Of Kun Ming City

The invention of the car has brought convenience for people’s life, but it also induced many disadvantages, such as parking problem, air pollution, recycling of used cars, noises, accidents and so on. These problems are generally called as "Auto Diseases". Solving the parking problem, one of the "Auto diseases", has become an important topic of urban development. Some developed countries like America and countries in Europe have the world’s highest per capita car ownership, these countries had treated parking problem as an important designing factor that should be considered in the process of urban planning and construction. Yet in China, the developing country, that car entering the public’s family was happened in recent20years, and it developed so quickly that the development of road resources and public traffic couldn’t catch up with the growth of cars as the planning of city was relatively lagged. Thus, some problems such as "travel problem" and "park problem" have occurred, which significantly caused serious troubles to people’s daily life and became the difficult problem of city development.How to effectively solve the contradiction of vehicle increase and the lack of parking spaces is an urgent problem to urban traffic planning. In terms of the construction of Stereo garages, specific project selection plan must be based on the local city’s construction planning and development needs, and should take the technical and economic factors into consideration. Because these factors directly influence the solving of urban road congestion problem, also indirectly affect the public image of the city."Parking problem" or parking space "hard to get" is an urgent problem that need to be solved in the process of city construction in Kunming.Aiming at how to effectively solve the problem, I have conducted some on-the-spot investigations on traffic congestion of some busy districts in rush hours in Kunming as well as the construction conditions of parking garages in these areas on the basis of the survey data from Construction Science Research Institute of Yunnan province, and also conducted the equipment selection research of the project of building50000stereo parking positions in Kunming that will be on the agenda soon. Firstly, I have strictly established the equipment selection criteria of stereo parking garage in accordance with the main technical points of the stereo garage; Secondly, according to the selection criteria, I have conducted a series of comparisons of different stereo garages that are widely used currently and have a high degree of automation. Besides, I got a priority ranking on this multi-criteria decision-making issue by using the AHP Method, and selected some parking equipments of relatively higher priority to build the alternative; Finally, I analyzed the economic feasibility of the alternative by the cost-benefit analysis, and reached the optimal solution that suitable for the project of building50000stereo parking positions in urban areas of Kunming city.Apparently, the above selection process is designed to provide a relatively scientific and rational decision-making reference for the project of50000stereo parking positions that will be built in Kunming soon, and to offer some suggestions in early planning and decision-making stage to the project owner and investors.
