Study On Architectural Design Of Healthy Dwelling Space In Kunming

Residential building is the most important architectural form in city surrounding, as the existing buildings with large scale they could be found in most of design projects. Nowadays, along with the rising of peoples living level and the development of the society economy, the masses put forward higher requirement for residential buildings, especially for their features of comfort and health.Healthy building, as a new developing direction of modern architecture, not only has the feature of saving energy and green building, but also has the further attention to the healthy livings of the dwellers. Healthy residential building means that, based on the dwelling fundamental factors with green and ecological concepts, raising the level of healthy elements, ensuring the multiple requirements of the dwellers in physiology, psychology, morality and society adapting, it provides dwellers with safe, healthy and comfort residential environment.This paper focus mainly on the study of following aspects:1) Summarize the relevant concepts about healthy residential building, background of its nowadays engendering and developing, and analyse their healthy features with special characteristics.2) Summarize the healthy requirements to residential buildings and analyse their building physical environment so as to create suitable architectural space with correct physical surroundings needed by healthy dwelling space.3) By the method of physical quantification with software of Ecotect and Phoenics, study on the physical environment of dwelling space in Kunming area. Through using the analysis of physical quantification in the project of reform for village inside city in Chengong District named Nijiaying village, it aims at a creation of healthy dwelling space, and an exploration to the design of both outside and inner space of the healthy residential buildings in Kunming area.4) By Summarizing the design tactics and methods in engineering practice, it puts forward primarily a design principle and method for healthy dwelling space in Kunming. It will not only be an exploration to such space design, but also a useful reference to the similar sketch design of residential buildings.The purpose of architectural design is to provide people with a living space with comfort and healthy character. This paper explores the design of healthy dwelling space, and the method of building quantification, which is combined with passive design and based on the computer simulation. It is hoped that more accurate characters could be grasped in the design process for physical environment, so as to create more scientific and reasonable dwelling space, and further more to heighten the degree of comfort and health, and also to create more comfort and healthy residential environment.
