As an important content of intelligent electricity link, Smart Grid User Interface (SGUI) is the key to guarantee the two-way communication of the electric power between the users and the grid domain. However, SGUI is still a new thing in the world, the existing technical standards can’t meet the requirements of the smart grid. This thesis tries to make use of the smart grid user interface test platform and the SGUI architecture, testing platform requirements analysis and studying the general design, then complete the test platform.First of all, the thesis studies the theory of SGUI. Analyzed the architecture of the smart grid architecture, SGUI architecture, the definitions of SGUI and the related technologies, providing a necessary theoretical support for the follow-up test platform design.Secondly, the requirement analysis of the test platform was raised through the study of SGUI’s function classification and existing protocols. The requirement analysis included self-function test platform, test template, data interaction interface and so on. Then putting forward three kinds of application requirements, the function test, service testing and protocol conformance testing and a detailed test content analysis for each test application.Combined with the requirement analysis of the testing platform application, the general design requirements and principles of test platform has been put forward. Based on the development experience at home and abroad for reference and the intelligent power acquisition system, the SGUI test platform was designed and built. The main designs are focused on the platform of the test logic architecture, function module, and test design. The most important thing is to complete the test platform communication network design in detail.Finally, the smart grid user interface test platform was made for the engineering application, using UML unified modeling language modeling of the test to complete the whole test system software structure design and activity state diagram. Then completed the three tests’application detailed working principle and testing process, and completed the test application.
