The substation is an important part of the power system, and it is an urgent problem in the process of power production that how to improve the level of safety management in substation maintenance operation. The technology of near electric field alarm and ultrasonic multi-target localization is researched in this paper for the sake of providing multiple security method for workers. It will effectively reduce the accident probability, and improve safety management level of the electric field operation. The main content and innovation are as follows:Firstly, regarding to the high computational complexity problem of electric field computation, a calculation method for the detailed distribution of power frequency electric field via compressed sensing is proposed. This method requires only a small amount of electric field strength data which collected by randomly deployed monitoring equipment, and the source parameters and field strength map can be reconstructed by the designed greedy matching pursuit algorithm. A new way of thinking for the non-contact equipment monitoring and substation operation safety is provided through the comparison of the reconstructed field strength map with the normal field strength map. Simulation results show that the proposed greedy matching pursuit algorithm can reconstruct field strength map better than BP and CosAMP algorithm.Secondly, according to the problem of complex environmental noise in substation, a method of pseudo random code for ultrasonic localization is proposed. Pseudo random coding technology can not only reduce the impact of signal attenuation, but also alleviate the multipath interference and distinguish between multiple targets.Thirdly, Time synchronization accuracy has a great influence on the performance of location algorithm based on time difference, and a model of hierarchical time synchronization algorithm based on wireless sensor network is proposed. In the early stages of the network deployment, according to the model layout the gateway node and the sink node, the sink node and sensor node using different time synchronization method. Simulation experiments show that the proposed method can improve the performance of the network convergence time and synchronization precision.Finally, an actual system development is established. The actual test shows that the system achieved good results in human precise positioning, tracking and classification in substation scenes.
