Today people’s life is related to passenger elevator closely, with the increasing of urban population and the expansion of cities, a growing number of buildings like mushrooms in the city,the floor is higher and higher. As the building of blood,the elevator are certain to come under increasing scrutin,and the security requirements of increasing awareness.The more spending on the elevator technology research and development in the world.The relevant field of international trade is becoming increasingly. As a special means of transport, more and more people has a strong dependence on elevators, but it has a safe hidden trouble, involves the People’s Daily travel safety. Therefore, in the elevator safety risk evaluation method research has important practical significance.In this paper, the elevator safety risk evaluation theory and method are summarized.Application of analytic hierarchy process(ahp) as an example was carried out the elevator slide cause the elevator slide of important order as: traction wheel excessive wear, brake force is insufficient, excessive lubrication, the overload switch wire rope damage, brake brakes,wire rope wrapping angle is too small, other elevator fault, misuse, balance coefficient is not correct, the result is consistent with actual. Using fuzzy evaluation method for risk levels and categories of the lift has carried on the qualitative analysis. Application of fault tree analysis and failure mode of the risk analysis and security risk has carried on the comprehensive evaluation of the lift, and combining with the instance for the elevator reliability of qualitative analysis and quantitative calculation. Through the elevator failure mode and risk analysis,put forward the measures to prevent failure, and an effective method of risk prevention provides for the daily maintenance of the elevator.
