Because of frequent start, overload and other reasons, the bearings and shafts of reducer are prone to wear even fracture, resulting in the existence of security risks of the reducer in the work threating to the personal safety and property security.A fault diagnosis system of reducer was established based on the theory of vibration signal analysis in this paper. With high speed data processing unit and friendly terminal the system is used in real-time monitoring of the running state of reducer and warning faults early, to prevent reducer fault occurs, eliminate safety hazards and improve the bridge crane reducer equipment running efficiency, economic indicators, technical indicators of the objective.In this paper, the design of the reducer fault vibration system was divided into two parts: hardware design and software development. Hardware design included the selection of sensor types and measuring points and the construction of data acquisition module, data processing module and data communication module. The software design included lower computer software, PC software and database.Programmed with C language to develop the embedded Linux system twice to realize the function of the lower machine that control the start and the transplantation of the system and comparison and analysis the characteristic parameters of the fault of the reducer in time domain, frequency domain and control section. Designed the man-machine interaction system(HMI) of the PC software with SCACA to achieve function of the system to monitor the running state of reducer real-time fault alarm information and warn the fault and report data. SQL Server database was selected to build data storage model to manage and store the data reliably.To verify system stability, reliability and practicality. tested the system in both laboratory environment and industrial field.
