As a new type of structure, which have superior wind resistance and seismic performance, steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frame has a good potential for application in high-rise and ultra-high-rise buildings. This paper studied the seismic performance and numerical analysis of steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames through experimental study and theoretical analysis. The main research contents as follow:(1) Through experiments of two steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames under the low cyclic loading, which study parameters is column section type and ways of wall connection, studied seismic performance and failure mechanism of this kind of structure. Detailed analysis of hysteresis curves, skeleton curves, strength and stiffness degradation rule, ductility and energy dissipation seismic performance index. And conducted the overall analysis of the structure of internal forces and local stress analysis(2) Established FEM of steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames and verified by experiments of the accuracy of the FEM. At the same time, nonlinear full-range analysis was carried out on the specimens, In order to learn its failure mechanism and stress distribution law of the key parts can be seen.(3) Established FEM of two-side connections steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames under the low cyclic loading. Studied the influence on hysteretic behavior and stress distribution of the structural of the the steel plate shear wall’s strength of steel, height to thickness ratio, aspect ratio, axial compression ratio and node form and stiffened plate thickness and other parameters. And determined the main influencing factors.(4) Established FEM of four-side connections steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames under the low cyclic loading. Studied the influence on hysteretic behavior and stress distribution of the structural of the the steel plate shear wall’s strength of steel, height to thickness ratio, aspect ratio, axial compression ratio and node form and stiffened plate thickness and other parameters. And determined the main influencing factors.(5) Through comparative analysis of two-side connections and four-side connections steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames, determined the main influence of the different ways of connection to steel plate shear wall—semi-rigid CFST frames.
