The development of electric vehicles(EVs) can not only effectively reduce carbon emissions, but also has strategic meaning to guarantee our energy security. Electric energy supplying facilities is necessary for EVs’ popularization. By integrating PV system into battery switch station, the EVs battery can avoid high indirect reduce carbon emissions while pluging to the power grid and relief dependence on fossil fuels.This paper firstly studies the structure of PV-assisted battery switch station, which is mainly divided into two type respectibely with a DC bus and with a AC bus.As the structure with a DC bus has a higher efficiency in energy transmission, structure with a DC bus is fitter for the PV-assisted battery switch station. Secondly, combined with the character of city traffic in our country and characteristics of different kinds of vehicle, the swapping demand of different kinds of EVs are researched. Based on Monte Carlo simulation method, the distribution of swapping time and SOC EV battery groups is obtained. Then the passive charging process is studied and an operation model is built, by which the total charging power and the usage percentage of PV power can be calculate. A case passive charging process of is also studie. Finally an active charging stategy is put forward. It is firstly applied on the electric bus battery swap station. On this basis, considering uncertainty of swapping time of electric taxi and private EVs, the stategy is modified by translate the swap distribution to previous time. Two cases of battery switch stations of electric taxi and private cars are analysed at last.The active charging operation model proposed in this paper improves the usage of PV power under the constraint of swapping acqendency. It provides theoretical reference to the operation of battery switch station.
