Wetland ecosystem is one of the three major ecosystems, with abundant natural resources. Urban wetland has high comprehensive value. The ecological benefits, economic benefits and social benefits of the wetland park are of great importance to improving the environment and citizens’ lives. Urban wetland was known as the "urban green lung". It has a lot of roles, for example, water saving, materials’ deposition and degradation, adjusting the microclimate and maintaining bio-diversity and so on. With the more and more attention paid to the environment, the construction of urban wetland park was pushed to the climax. But the research on plant landscape of urban wetland park was seldom. So it is of necessary to do researches of plant landscape evaluation of wetland park. Plant communities’landscape in wetland park should be the high combination and unity of the science and art, which must meet the ecological adaptability between plant and its habitat, using the principles of art composition in plant landscape for showing the beauty of individual plant and plant communities. The Yanghu Wetland Park is a typical urban wetland park in Changsha. To a certain extent, its plant landscape quality represents the level of wetland plant landscape in Changsha.Firstly, the related conceptions of urban wetland, Wetland park, plant landscape, scenic beauty estimation method (SBE method) ect. were introduced in paper; Secondly, the related theories on plant landscape construction of wetland park were demonstrated from many disciplines such as the wetland ecology, plant community, environmental psychology, landscape aesthetics, functions of wetland plants and the principles for landscape designing. Thirdly, taking the Yanghu Wetland Park as the research object, through consulting the expert opinion and the reference literature, combined with the reality of the Yanghu Wetland Park. Under the requirement of meeting the ecological habits of plants,24 typical plant samples that refer to different regions, different species richness, spatial diversity, different habitats and community levels were selected. Through the actual survey and the collection of related pictures and data, take the plant landscape of the Yanghu Wetland Park as the object and then incorporated them into a slideshare.70 raters that using the SBE method to evaluate the photoes were organized, and then the data was normalized. According to the reality of the Yanghu Wetland Park,8 evaluation factors,plant species, green apparent rate, color, landscape sequence, landscape level, viewing characteristic, water body proportion and environment coordination degree, were chosen for the experts to evaluate the landscape. Statistical methods were used to analyze data.The mathematical evaluation model between landscape factors and beauty degree of value was built, which can obtain the main factors affecting the degree of plant landscape scenery. On the basis of the analysis of the evaluation results, problems and deficiencies of the Yanghu Wetland Park plant landscape were summarized and suggestions was put forward for improvement, which can provide the reference suggestions for urban wetland park construction and its plant landscape design in Changsha and the surrounding cities in the future.
