The Simulation Research Of ME Type Diesel Engine Control Unit

With the development of electronic control diesel engine,ME series diesel engine of MAN B&W is gradually replacing the traditional diesel engine as the mainstream of marine diesel engine.Therefore,updating the knowledge structure of the crew is imminent. But the existing marine engine simulators lack of ME intelligent diesel engine simulation system. This paper aims to develop a training simulator system of ME diesel engine control unit.This subject is based on the marine engine simulator and crew intelligent test platform researched and developed by the laboratory. Mathematical modeling and Simulation of the 8K90ME-C diesel engine main control unit MOP is carried out. The work accomplished as follows:(1) Based on the technical data of 8K90ME-C diesel engine,the mathematical model of ME diesel engine control system (ECS) is established.The model includes: Engine information control unit (EICU),Engine control unit (ECU),Auxiliary control unit (ACU) and Cylinder control unit (CCU).Established the mathematical model the main engine pneumatic operating system and VIT-actuator and cylinder lubricator unit.(2) Researched and designed the human machine interface (MOP).Designed and developed the program of MOP interface with VC++6.0.The model calculation of the control unit is completed.Developed a ME diesel engine control unit simulation system.The correctness of the model is verified by simulation calculation.(3) The simulation system of the ME diesel engine control unit is integrated into the crew intelligence test platform.Completed variable correlation and preliminary testing.The system can complete the following functions:main engine stand-by,adjustment of cylinder oil injection,VIT regulation.Achieved the expected purpose.
