Studies On The China Liuyang Lake International Slow City Planning

It’s a good attempt to chose some small towns or communities surrounding the big city, and establish a number of regions meet the concept of slow city for people those who pursue a better life quality and their own well-being from big cities and rural areas. This also complies with China’s urban development strategy of "Making Great Efforts to Promote Ecological Progress"and"Promote urban and rural construction".Combining the above background, by summarizing the theories of "Slow city", analyzing the outstanding "slow city" casesat home and abroad, and intensively studing the practical significance and feasibility of China’s first slow city, the "Yaxi the ecological tour" in Gaochun Nanjing and at last making full use of the advantages of the local area, we planned an actual project named "Xihu international slow city in Liuyang Hunanprovince. Designed under to guide of the "slow city" concept, also we want to explore an ecological and harmony combination of "Urban&Rural development" concept, leisure tourism, cultural tourism, physical culture and pension industry in this project. Firstly, we finished the market analysis and the target population positioning to determine the develop strategy andtarget of this program according the culture and site condition of Jiaoxi area. Then we designed the spatial distribution and each functional area. At last, we complete an general analysis about the investment and the benefit, the production and supply of products we design, also construction plan recently. In this international slow town, we appeal to go back to nature, protect the local food, and spread the traditional folk art.This design takes into account the protection of the local ecological resources and the geographical culture characteristics, while ensuring the feasibility of the traffic system, the leisure system and the health care system. In addition, our work can promote the tourism and the development of physical culture and pension industry in Liuyang Jiaoxi area and also facilitate the resident. All the design work in this paper meets the concept of slow city, which processes reference meaning in China’s coordinated Urban&Rural development and ecological progress.
