With the change of the structure of power generation, microgrid technology will be widely used as an important branch of smart grid technologies and efficient utilization types. However, distributed power and load of The microgrid have characteristics of a distributed. How to achieve efficient, real-time control system is one of the issues in the process of microgrid operation which needs to be resolved. In the end, the paper studies the operational control of microgrid from the perspective of system control and communication architecture as follows.(1)According to the dispersion, random generation of characteristic of distributed power in microgrid, this paper applies the multi-agent technology to the control system of Microgrid, dividing the three-layer control structure of Micrgrid into distributed station agent、microgrid agent and device agent. Due to the location of the different levels of the agent, which should have different functions, the paper introduces the specific functions of different agents in detail. And we put forward the corresponding control strategy to realize the switching procedure which is between grid connected mode and island model in a single complementary scenery of microgrid.(2)In order to solve the problem of data in real-time communication between the small complementary scenery of microgrid, this paper proposes a microgrid communication architecture based on Ethernet and RS485bus, which is designed using the Modbus/UDP protocol between distribution and microgrid agent and Modbus RTU protocol between microgrid and component agent. According to the control characteristics of different agents, the industry PC, ARM9and PIC18F97J60are selected respectively as the distribution station agents microgrid agents distribution/microgrid breaker agent hardware development platform, and appropriate communication interface hardware circuit is designed.(3)According to the specific function of different agents in Microgrid define communication function code of Modbus/UDP protocol and Modbus RTU protocol, QT is used to design appropriate communication program、monitor interface of distributed station agent and microgrid agent. Then, the network experimental environment is built to test the performance of Modbus/UDP protocol. In the end, a small scenery complementary of microgrid experimental platform is built to test and analyse the control architecture and communication architecture of system which is designed before.
