ABSTRACT:The control instruction, operation monitoring, as well as the diagnosis and detection of fault of the subway train, are delivered through the communication network of the train. For the subway train, the working state of each part of the train can be transmitted to the master train through the network. And the master train also needs to transmit traction and control instruction through the network to detect the state of each part and diagnose the fault, in order to ensure the coordinated unification of each unit of the whole train.HDLC is used as transmission protocol in the train management system (TMS) and traction control unit (DCU) of the subway train produced by Mitsubishi Co. Since foreign enterprises never make the communication meaning between the train management system and DCU to public, it causes some difficulties for the domestic manufacturers to replace the equipments on the subway train. Therefore it is necessary to develop a system which is able to parse all kinds of instructions of TMS, in order to understand the control instructions of domestic DCU. The developed system is also able to check the feedback content which DCU sends to TMS.This thesis describes the specific work of the drive control unit and the train management system of subway train. Further more, a communication system for the localization of DCU through the systematic analysis and research between the two is designed, and the design of STR710minimum system of the controller, the Ethernet transmission module, USB transmission module, RS485communication module and power module part is completed. Minimum system mainly uses STR710FZ2T6processor to realize the transceiver function of HDLC protocol, by being connected with the extension of Flash and RAM. The Ethernet module, which is higher than the rate of USB transmission module, transmits data to PC mainly using CS8900A. The RS485module can realize the communication between TMS and DCU. The power module offers the whole communication system with5.5V and3V power supply.In the aspect of program design, the program of system initialization, transceiver of the HDLC function, serial communication function, USB function, Ethernet function, interrupt function and the main function is finished designing. At the end of the thesis, a test of acquisition, bidirectional forwarding and storage analysis of the data is done on the measurement platform built in laboratory. The communication between TMS and domestic DCU (RS485) is realized and the integrity of the communication system is verified.
