With the massive operation of high-speed railway in China, the number of operator and technical maintenance staff with high level cannot meet the needs. The high quality of staff training has become an urgent problem of railway industry. In China, CTCS-3train control system is used for the railway with the speed over300km/h. Operation safety and stability of the CTCS-3on-board subsystem requires high skills and qualities both for the driver and maintenance staff of signal equipment, which puts forward higher requirements for the training of train control system. Therefore, research on online training platform of CTCS-3on-board subsystem is of great significance and practical value.The paper first describes the technical specification and functional requirements of CTCS-3on-board equipment, and then analyzes the functional requirements of on-board subsystem and its training platform.Furthermore, according to the functional requirements, an overall program of training platform is designed, which included structure, functional modules, interface, operational process and so on. The design of training platform is concentrated on the teaching and analysis subsystem, with teaching case and driving simulation subsystems being the important operational environment. Teaching and analysis subsystem focuses on the training of mode transition and scenario process teaching of on-board subsystem. The Entity Relationship Diagram (E-R Diagram) is used to design the transition condition and information record in mode transition of on-board subsystem. Flow chart and information interaction diagram are in use for the design of the static and dynamic demonstration of scenario process. Teaching case subsystem researches the selection of teaching cases, the display of platform diagram and data management. And, the driving simulation subsystem is studied in the respects of train dynamic model, driving simulating platform, on-board equipment function and Device Man Interface (DMI).In the end, using Visual Studio2010as a development tool, based on ASP.NET, C++language, SQL database, STT programming technique, the paper realizes the online training platform of the CTCS-3on-board subsystem online training platform. The completed functions include:online visiting of web application, the function for train to realize transition modes based on driving environment and display mode transition condition; the scenario process training or train register, level transition and cancellation:station display; simulating driving stick and the calculation of train speed. The training platform is tested in signal training room of Wuhan high-speed railway vocational skills training base.
