Permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has the advantages of simple structure, low loss, high efficiency, large torque, inertia ratio,.etc. PMSM has been widely applied in the industrial field. However, due to the inherent characteristic of permanent magnetic materials, the air gap magnetic field of PMSM remains constant. In view of the difficulty to adjust magnetic field, the improvement based on PMSM is made in this thesis. A coordinate structure hybrid excitation synchronous generator (HESG) is proposed, the thesis studies the structure theory, electromagnetic relations, mathematical model, the control system of motor which using digital signal processor (DSP) as control core. In traditional design process, because of the complex control system, circuit, and embedded chip, development of code is difficult. These steps bring great difficulty to the designer. This thesis focuses on the superiority of model-based design in the design of motor control system.The thesis determines the main control system strategy of HESG, establishes the simulation model by using MATLAB/Simulink, verifies the accuracy of the motor model and control model. Model-based design method is used to establish the control model, and the thesis adopts TI C2000 modules in Simulink to build the motor’s control model, so the control system based on TMS320F2812 can obtain a rapid development. The embedded C code can be automatically generated. The application of model-based design makes mutual isolation and uninterrupted development process approach to a organic combination.In this thesis, the experimental hardware platform based on TMS320F2812 includs the main power supply, control power supply section. And it contains the master CPU core board, current and voltage detection modules in the platform. Also the thesis conducts a detailed study about PWM pulse isolation (high-speed optocoupler), and IPM module.Finally, in order to verify the reliability and feasibility of the model-based design, the thesis takes the field oriented control of PMSM for example to illustrate the advantages of model-based design method, even before the HESG prototype manufacturing finishes. The process contains establishing control model, C code generation, and verification experiment platform.The results achieved in this thesis have laid a solid foundation for the implementation of motor controller based DSP for HESG and PMSM.etc.
