The flatness error is one of the main parameters of the relay core, directly determines the quality of the relay core, and even affects the safety of equipment and person safety. Currently, the core flatness error is sampled by manual measurement in majority of medium and minor enterprises in Zhejiang Province which is not only a long cycle, low efficiency procedure, but also easy to produce artificial error, affecting the quality of the product. At present, although there are a lot of flatness measuring instrument on the market, they are not suitable for measuring small workpiece of discontinuous plane. The research project is set up for the needs of mass product factory to implement automatic continuous measurement and solve the limitations of off-line manual measurement.For the shortcoming of the iron core flatness measurement, the existing problem and the practical requirements of the factory, a set of systems based on the non-contact mode of the laser displacement sensor, belt pusher type of the high precision dynamic measurement and the defective reciprocating automatic sorting method is designed and developed by means of searching the material transfer mode, the workpiece moving way, the dynamic data acquisition mode and the defective goods sorting methods. The mechanical structure is driven by a permanent magnet synchronous motor, and the drive circuit hardware is designed; Choose STC 89C52, split-beam infrared photoelectric switches to implement sorting control. Research the friction characteristic of the iron core in different material measurement platform, by friction testing, analyzing the influence of sliding velocity, material, and surface roughness on the measurement accuracy, then determines the measurement platform material. Meanwhile, analyze the influence of the surrounding conditions of vibration on measurement accuracy, proposed the foundation vibration isolation and passive vibration isolation measures.Based on the definition of flatness and the analysis of mathematical model, summarized the key points of evaluate the flatness error by multi-points, and proposed a method of data collection feature point selection and preprocessing.Developed a set of implementation iron core flatness error of dynamic measurement and automatic sorting PC software, the main features are: user management, data acquisition, data processing and preservation, defective control, etc. Wherein, the least squares algorithm assessment methods is optimized by combing with the improved particle swarm algorithm to evaluate the flatness error of the separation planes in the data processing section.Finally, assessed the performance of the measurement system by detailed analysis of the experimental data, and verified the feasibility of the optimization algorithm by making a comparison among the evaluation result of the optimization algorithm, the evaluation result of the least squares method, the measurement result of Coordinate Measurement Machine.
