As increasing of wind power and photovoltaic installed capacity The model which is suitable for power system analysis is becoming more and more indispensable.This article is carried out from the following several aspects:wind power model order reduction method, generic model comparision, evolvement mechanism research, photovoltaic simplified model and acess to the actual grid.By means of the mathematical modeling, the variables which make a critical difference is derived, the variables are simplified or ignored which do not affect the system analysis, the process is detailedly analyzed from the electromagnetic transient model to the reduced order model, the reduced order model which can accurately simulate the wind turbine is established.the simulations results are compared with between the electromagnetic transient model and reduced order model by PSCAD. The comparison results validate the proposed generic model,it can accurately represent the wind turbine transient response under both normal and fault conditions.This paper discusses the order reduction method of the doubly-fed wind generator; then introduces the process from the full order electromagnetic model to the simplified model and end to electromechanical transient model.General overview of the significance and evolvement process of generic wind turbine model.This paper provides a brief summary of the implementation of generic model for IEC standard and WECC standard Type-3 generator. The first generation of WECC generic wind turbine model, the second generation of WECC wind turbines model, the IEC generic wind turbine model are compared, the overall structure and each module model of these three generic models of wind turbine are analyzed in detail.Through the reasonable simplification and assumption, the reduced order model of photovoltaic system is set up,in which the model of photovoltaic cells, power converter and its control system, MPPT control, grid interface and protection of the system were set up. The electromechanical transient model of photovoltaic system is developed under PSASP/UD, the simulation results of the illumination disturbance and grid fault show that the model can reflect characteristics and function of photovoltaic system, provides model support for the large photovoltaic power generation system into the grid.
