Demand for electricity is growing, the increasingly serious problem of environmental protection, the development of new energy power generation is the best way for the sustainable development of energy. With the rapid development of wind power, wind power accounted for the percentage of grid gradually increased. Further study is needed and improve the technical problems of large-scale wind power integration. Due to the change of wind speed with the uncertainty and randomness of wind power and conventional power generation, so that the situation has a significant difference, will bring great impact on the power grid. In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of power grids of the large-scale wind power access, integration of wind power grid operation control technology is more and more important, the stability of power grid operation control technology, control technology, optimization technology, wind power and grid coordinated control technology will become the key technology in wind power grid connected control.This paper first introduces the wind power technology development at home and abroad research and application, the paper introduces the operating principle of wind power generation system and the main equipment, the mathematical model is established on the basis of wind power generation system. Then it analyzes the influence of wind power on power system stability, and summarizes the current main strategies on improving the stability of the power grid.In order to fully understand the impact of wind farm on power grid, the trend of power system with wind farm is studied, and analyzes on the advantages and disadvantages of different power flow calculation. Taking Huludao as an example, the power flow calculation of power system based on Matlab and its simulation platform, analysis of the impact of wind power integration may bring to Huludao power grid. Aiming at the problem of optimization of power system containing wind farm, the calculation method of the optimal power flow. Optimal power flow is also considered a power optimization problem of network security and network system, finally realize the optimization of Huludao power system through the analysis of two aspects of safety and economy.
