Distribution transformer overload condition in the long-term operation, greatly influence the effect of energy saving and safety performance of the distribution transformer, will lead to increased, loss distribution transformer output distribution transformer decline, even when serious transformer burnout caused large-scale power users. Because the distribution transformers are widely distributed, the number in the power system, and is directly related with the user equipment, is at the very important position in the power system, but the loss generated during the process of its operation in the total loss of power system occupies a relatively large proportion of. Therefore, we must make the distribution transformer running safely and reduce the loss generated distribution transformer operation, realize the safe, reliable, economic operation。This paper mainly researched (including over-voltage ferroresonance overvoltage), three phase unbalance current, short circuit current overload conditions such as effects on the energy saving effect of distribution transformer and the safety performance, by changing the magnetic circuit analysis of distribution transformer, the calculated distribution transformer in each phase of the size of the magnetic flux changes, through the analysis of wave process distribution transformer winding, distribution calculated winding voltage and current, considering the influence of distribution transformer overload condition from the energy saving effect and safety performance, find out the main factors affecting the overload condition of distribution transformer energy efficiency and safety performance and the influence rule of distribution transformer safety performance and loss, and puts forward some targeted at a variety of overload working solutions and measures, and the situation of the study of distribution transformer in China are proposed and summarized to improve energy efficiency measures of distribution transformer. Finally, aiming at the dry type distribution transformer silicon and amorphous alloy dry-type transformer cooling efficiency problems, establish ANSYS simulation analysis model of dry-type distribution transformer, temperature distribution in winding of distribution transformer, so as to provide reference for such as installation position with distribution temperature measurement of optical fiber probe, and provide a theoretical reference for the winding temperature for the energy saving effect of distribution transformer.
