In recent years, the study of the coal preparation system attaches great importance to both at home and abroad, for certain advanced industrial countries, especially the development of coal pulverizer has experienced the primary stage of its development. Since the eighties of the last century, the main goal of our coal preparation system is to improve the efficiency of its milling and meet the requirements of industrial production.In as the 600 MW boiler units burn coal of low heat value, operating of five coal pulverizers cannot produce sufficient coal required for units’ full load. Because the heat generated by the existing coal quality decreased, Power Plant has mainly made a transformation on a single disc mill, roller Coal Pulverizer components, increasing the output of a single mill, so that coal grinding consumption reduces the amount of machines, so as to achieve the purpose of energy saving. Coal grinding machine after transformation can run in the 61.5t/h output, reached a year-on-year increase of requirements of 6t/h design, coal mill output increased by 18%.In its capacity as the ventilation resistance when 61.5t/h are about 5.2kpa,meet the design requirments of the maximum output of ventilation resistance of less than 6.54kpa.Before the transformation, the average consumption of coal grinding machine is 10.01 kwh/t, and after the transformation, it is 9.05 kwh/t. The unit consumption of coal mill were significantly lower than those before the transformation of consumption after the transformation of output increasing.Through the transformation of a small local mill, it increases the output of the coal mill, thetransformation component is less, the other components which are not modified are versatile, the transformation implementation is simple, so that reconstruction costs are significantly reduced.In the process of design and manufacturing, the problems that exist in the coal mill run and the development of new coal mill technology have been comprehensively and fully considered, and the successful implementation of a new stationary ring, new rod connected sets and other innovative technologies. The transformation achieved expected results.
