When urban development accelerated, reducing the land, parking shortage is getting worse. The underground parking garage as a mechanical parking-intensive,has become the most effective way to solve this problem. However,due to the underground garage in a relatively closed space and few entrances,when fires,it will be very inconvenient for people to escape and fire extinguishing,so the underground parking garage of mechanical fire research is very important.This article will simulate the fire of mechanical underground parking garage by using the fire simulation software FDS as a computing platform. The fire simulation will be divided into three different conditions:the first is no fire protection measures in garage;the second is set only mechanical exhaust system in garage;the third is set mechanical exhaust systems and automatic sprinkler system in garage, and then comparing the three different conditions by development of smoke and fire, analyze and discuss the impact of mechanical exhaust systems for automatic fire sprinkler systems.The simulation results show that under the conditions of the second conditions, comparing with the first conditions of without any fire protection measures,in the pre-fire, high temperature flue gas exhaust makes a certain weakening of the fire, but with the development of the fire, adding the new wind will increase the flame burning in the late and increase the difficulty of the late fire fighting. At the same time(ie, the top of the vertical fire source garage) above the fire source and garage entrance temperature are not significantly reduced, but the garage gas concentration decreased, so the impact of the fire early exhaust system is not obvious, and in the latter it may exacerbate the development of fire. However, in the third of the working conditions, the fire of the parking garage will be well controlled, and the temperature and gas concentration in the garage will be reduced, which shows the sprinkler system and exhaust system can effectively inhibit the development of fire. The fire simulation conclusion Description:in the underground parking garage of the fire, mechanical exhaust systems and automatic sprinkler system can not only control the development of the fire, but also readily escape.
