Compliant mechanism has advantages of frictionless, easy installation and high compactness, and when forced deformation smooth hinge, can store energy and displacement,when the driver disappeared, compliant mechanism can quickly return to its original position.Use compliant mechanism drive the cutting tool for 3 d elliptical vibration cutting,can reduce the cutting force, reducing cutting heat, restrain tool wear, significantly improve the effect of processing.Most of the previous design mechanism and multi degree of freedom for the series, with serial mechanism as the carrier of the three-dimensional elliptical vibration cutting device can effectively avoid the movement coupling, but serial mechanism will lead to huge plant, the first order natural frequency is low, driving difficult.Compliant mechanism based on parallel mode as the carrier of the three-dimensional elliptical vibration cutting device can avoid the above defects, but the existing parallel arrangement is single, working stroke is small, dynamic performance is poor, and there is no driving force for the location of the point to study, therefore, developing a good performance of parallel mechanism and multidimensional, and develop its application in three-dimensional elliptical vibration cutting,has the vital significance.This paper use the FACT compliant mechanism design method to design a kind of parallel mechanism and three degrees of freedom, to calculate the stiffness matrix and static mechanics index of compliant mechanism, including the degree of sensitivity and isotropy,etc., research shows that the device is not all gay, and compliant mechanism is more sensitive to the change of torque.Modal analysis of the model results confirmed a compliant mechanism has a good dynamic characteristics, the model of statics analysis it is concluded that the device of the maximum displacement and maximum tolerance, the model of transient dynamics analysis it is concluded that by adjusting the driving signal, can produce a three-dimensional elliptical vibration displacement response of compliant mechanisms, confirmed the compliant mechanism can be used as the carrier of three-dimensional elliptical vibration cutting device.With three degrees of freedom parallel mechanism as the carrier, design the new three-dimensional elliptical vibration cutting device, and designed for the installation base and turret device, through empirical formula to calculate the cutting force device during processing can withstand the maximum turning, actuation position is obtained through the calculation of cutter location, drive the amplitude, the influence of the parameters of ellipse tool rod length.By adjusting the driving position, need only two driver device can realize three degrees of freedom in the direction of movement.Choose to drive the piezoelectric pile driver and device for the elastic restoring force, the design of the drive pre-tightening mechanism, and calculate the self-locking Angle.Select the appropriate cutting parameters and cutting tool Angle cutting experiment, using the device of cutting surface more smooth, roughness decrease about 20%, and device working frequency is high, to improve the effect of processing results, the more obvious.
