The operation scheme of passenger train is the basis for railway passenger transport organization, and the evaluation is the basis for optimizing the operation scheme. It can better reflect the operations of passenger transport and service quality of it, and provide the scientific basis for passenger train. The research on the evaluation method of operation scheme of intercity passenger dedicated line is the promotion of the research space to formulate the scheme reasonable, as well as the beneficial innovation to optimize and adjust for operation scheme, which has a great significance to develop a set of comprehensive evaluation index system according to the characteristics of operation scheme of intercity passenger dedicated line, and to set the effective method in the new period of our country.Based on the research on Chinese and foreign literature about passenger dedicated line and high-speed rail, by using relevant theory of system analysis and evaluation, this paper induces the concept, current situation, characteristics, contents, develop principles and organization method of operation scheme of intercity passenger dedicated line. On the basis of these works, by analyzing the content analysis of the intercity passenger transportation organization and combining with the relevant project research data, this paper establishes the comprehensive evaluation index system of operation scheme of the intercity passenger dedicated line. The index system is simplified by using computer cluster analysis based on related theory and method. The sample of actual data calculation shows that the simplified index can reflect the characteristics of various aspects of sample effectively. In addition, this paper selects Wuhan city circle intercity passenger dedicated line project as the research object, carries on the investigation and analysis by using empirical research method, applies the key evaluation index, evaluate the operation scheme based on factor analysis, then the results of this evaluation are used to select the optimal operation scheme from various ones. Therefore, the effectiveness of the method is proved, and it is more operable to evaluation method.
