A good train plan is the key to train’s operation. Studying good train plan can expand thetransportation market share of railway, and it can improve the operation efficiency of railway,and it also can increase the market competitiveness. Currently our country’s PassengerDedicated Line is a large-scale planning and construction, and part of them has begunoperation. Lack of direct reference, theory and method on the transport organization ofPassenger Dedicated Line is short for preparation, and research on passenger train plan is lackof operability. Consequently, the train plan of it has a lot of questions needing to be solved.First of all, the author starts from the concept of passenger train plan, combining withour country’s actual situation of Passenger Dedicated Line, meeting with railway travelers’needs and interests of the railway transport enterprises, some principle is proposed for it. Thenthe author thoroughly analyze it’s influencing factors, aiming at formulating the wholeprocess of the train scheme of Passenger Dedicated Line and solving train traveling amountsof Passenger Dedicated Line. At the same time, the author expound the influencing factors ofPassenger Dedicated Line’s passenger flux, review the domestic and international’s passengerflux forecasting method, analyze their advantages and disadvantages, and discuss the suitablemethod for Passenger Dedicated Line which is based on the four stage method and NL(Nested logit) prediction model of passenger flux. On basis of these, considering the interestsof travelers and railway transport enterprise, the author build a multi-objective model to solvethe train traveling amounts, which is aimed at pursuing the income of the rail enterprise andmaximizing the direct train transport and minimizing the empty seats’ traveling miles andconstraint of which is the full train number and passenger demand. The author carefullyexpounds solving methods of this model. In order to make the model more actually, the O-Dflux are designed. Finally, taking Xi’an-Chengdu Passenger Dedicated Line for example,research is being studied on the application of the model. For the convenience of calculation,the author simplifies the front model. Assumed that the Xi’an-Chengdu Passenger DedicatedLine is given, based on the train plan flow chart and the simplified model, the author use goalprogramming method to convert multiple programming to a single programming, and useExcel software to solve the train travelling amounts, and give a simple evaluation of train plan.The calculated results shows that: the operation scheme of Xi’an to Hanzhong passenger flowdensity is a few bigger, being the highest flux rate and the minimum empty seats rate; theoperation scheme of Jiangyou to Mianyang passenger flow density is a few smaller, being thelowest flux rate and the maximum empty seats rate; if we can appropriately increase thepassenger train occupancy rate, the empty seats rate will be significantly reduced, and the railway departments’ operating income will be greatly increased; the higher direct transportrate can improve the railway transport service quality.
