| With the development of our national economy, our buildings and roads in city are extended in a speeding way. And the road traffic noise pollution has become more and more serious. Due to historical reasons, there are some special railways through the city, and the noise train produced do harms to the university teachers and students’ study and life. Many schools build in the center of the city, so the traffic noise generated around the developed transportation inevitably will affect the acoustic environment of the campus teachers and students live in. The research on characteristics of traffic noise from campus surrounding can provide a reliable scientific basis for the implementation of reducing campus noise, and has an important significance.In this paper, an university campus in the centre of the city is viewed as the research object, the university campus is surrounded by two six lane city roads and a coal special railway line. In the survey of the study we accord the relevant standards of the train noise and road traffic noise to test the acoustic environment of campus area noise affected. According the test results to analyse the traffic noise, and then according the noise evaluation standards on city regional environmental to evaluate each measuring point.The analysis of test data show that: The noise peak frequency producted when the train through the campus is wide, the sound pressure level is larger 10dB(A)than the noise limit value of university campus; The sound pressure level produced by the train whistled was 88.6dB(A)and make a greater impact on the sound environment of university campus, so whistle should be prohibited and whistle signals should be instead by the other signal; The values of equivalent sound level A from the five sensitive noise points affected by noise which produced by vehicles running on X road and Y road are 57.8dB(A) to 76.8dB(A) and they exceed the limit standard of university campus noise, the middle and high frequency part of the sound pressure level is higher, the peak appears mostly around 1000 Hz,noise reduction method should be selected for middle and high frequency noise and the noise reduction effect should be obviously; Due to the impact of road traffic noise, the teaching building noise also exceed the standard condition, and the sound pressure level increased first and then decreased with the floor values’ increase, the maximum equivalent sound level A 58.9dB(A) appeared in the fifth floor.Use FHWA, RLS90 and Technical guidelines for environmental impact assessment on acoustical environment to study regional noise prediction and then compare predicted value calculated from prediction model with the measured values and give an analysis, the RLS90 prediction model’s value has the best consistency with the measured value, error in the 1.2dB(A). For sensitive noise points’ values which cannot be tested in spot can be calculated by RLS90 model. |
