Significant effect to solve the problem of early damage of asphalt pavement with semi-rigid base. Therefore, the large size asphalt treated base asphalt pavement can be used to make normal play to the service function and achieve its normal life, and had an important significance for saving the cost of the asphalt pavement maintenance.In this paper, the object of study was the high-speed Beijing-Xu asphalt pavement maintenance engineering of south segment, the research content mainly includes the following four aspects:The selection of raw materials and mix proportion design; study on mechanical performance of large stone asphalt mixture (the rebound modulus and splitting strength); response analysis of large stone asphalt pavement; survey of large size asphalt treated base application effect.This paper got the following results in a large number of laboratory tests and practical pavement investigation.(1)The modulus of resilience of large stone asphalt mixture in 20℃ was 1159MPa-1719MPa,splitting strength in 16℃ was 1.067MPa-2.205MPa.(2)The increase of large grain size gravel base course thickness and the increase of water stabilized base of equivalent modulus of elasticity can be greatly reduced size macadam bottom layer tensile stress and tensile strain, and the increase of large stone asphalt modulus increases the bottom layer tensile stress, had no effects on tensile strain at the bottom of the. In addition, based on the theory of limit strain can get the minimum thickness of asphalt macadam. (3) According to the results of the survey and the smoothness of pavement distress and deflection testing data, the application effect of large size asphalt macadam was good.The research accumulated experience for the further improvement of large size asphalt treated base asphalt road. |
