In highway construction, design is the construction of the important prerequisite, the resilience modulus, splitting strength etc of pavement materials intensity index is the core of pavement structure design parameters, Highway construction quality and economic feasibility is decided by these parameters formula. In the《Technical Specifications of Highway Asphalt Pavements》, the resilience modulus when the temperature is 15℃and 20℃,the splitting strength when the temperature is 15℃is road surface materials design parameters. The asphalt pavement design specification put forward different pavement materials of resilience modulus, splitting strength value scope. At present, rubber asphalt pavement in our country and province is becoming more and more popular. By this kind of new materials consisting of AC– 10,AC– 13,AC - 16 etc to different types of rubber asphalt concrete has its own characteristics and way-use performance. For this new type of asphalt pavement structure, the design is still does not have special design specification can consult,only according to general basis current standard. The available research results have shown that, new asphalt pavement layer materials design parameters, and the current specification recommended values have great difference. If when the design does not consider the material's actual situation, can cause huge waste, or cause design safe hidden trouble. Currently the new materials design parameters have not, it is necessary to combine Liaoning district general highway actual situation, in this region rubber asphalt concrete surface layer materials design parameters system was studied. First the paper carried on research in allusion to rubber asphalt and its mixture applications and rubber asphalt concrete pavement design parameters investigation by a huge mass of data. Then this paper based on the basic theory of rubber asphalt concrete, studied the rubber asphalt modification mechanism and application technology index, it also determined the rubber asphalt mixture ratio design method and way-use performance validation methods. Next, test specimens are made up of materials with its proper gradation and the optimum asphalt ratio. Compression modulus of asphalt rubber hot mixture is tested by the axial compression test, and the splitting strength is measured by the splitting strength test. Consequently, pavement design parameters of rubber asphalt concrete pavement are determined and the relationship among them is researched by analyzing. Finally, the analysis of rubber asphalt pavement design parameters on the pavement structure was done some research, and the rubber asphalt mixture of environmental and economic and technical analysis was made also.Research results show that: The modulus measured of asphalt rubber concrete is lower than those used in the pavement design, the thickness of pavement is thinner to the disadvantage of Vehicle loads;Meanwhile, the splitting strength measured of asphalt rubber concrete is higher, bottom stress is more easy to meet the requirements in design.
