At present, many units of our country which have been put into operation, because of the quality of coal, the equipment itself and many other reasons, all of these influence the load response speed, unable to meet the requirements of the grid in time.In order to achieve the aim that the unit load response rate meet the requirements of the power grid,though some units improve the sliding pressure curve of units one sidedly,in this way,even if it can improve the load response speed, but not only affect the economic operation of the unit, but also put the safety of the unit into unguaranteed, resulting in a decline in unit’s service life.This paper will introduce a new technology, which named the condensate throttling technology, and bring about the condensate throttling control system by programming, adjustment of auxiliary power unit load response, make unit’s load response to meet the requirements of the power grid, at the same time improve the unit operation of the economy.In this paper, after condensation of water throttling experiment have done, the dynamic characteristic of condensate throttling are analyzed, including: analysis of water throttling effect on the load response analysis of condensation; condensation effect of water throttling of deaerator water level; analysis of the condensate effect of water throttling of condenser water level,and do identification of unit’s dynamic model combined with the experimental data, then design the condensate throttling control system, and applied to the actual operation of the thermal power unit.
