The Research On Interior Space Design In Experiential Teahouse

The homogeneity of traditional teahouse is currently getting serious and the competition among them is throat-cutting. Therefore, traditional teahouse needs to be transformed and that is why experiential teahouse appears. The new-style teahouse can make people better understand the local cultural, where people can take part in activities like tea viewing, tea making and tea tasting.Firstly, the paper states the differences between experiential and traditional teahouse, such as forms, contents, consumption groups, design features, concepts, interior space design and so on. In this paper, the advantages of experiential teahouse show as follows:substantial scenarios, strong design features, accurate positioning, more interactive sessions, obvious regional features and outstanding brand image. The design feature of experiential teahouse contains diversification of functions, design formative characteristic, High-tech design means and ecological environment. Furthermore, the paper put forwards the design strategy of experiential teahouse, basing on the space atmosphere and human activities and analyzing the form experience of experiential teahouse, the behavior of consumers and the indoor space design elements. After investigation, the new type teahouse provides consumers with a sensory experience and brings out consumers’ emotion and thinking. The functional partition basing on consumers’ behavior should be made in experiential teahouse.
