North Campus Of Hunan First Normal College Campus Landscape Image Analysis

South campus of Hunan First Normal University lies on the foot of Miao Gao mountain. It has a long history, thus honored as’a normal university of hundreds of years’. Its unique natural landscape and human landscape contains rich cultural elements, playing an important role in the protection and inheritance of campus culture landscape. The text of this paper is based on imageology theory, studying the design, application and spirit of Hunan First Normal University campus landscape. It studies the cultural connotation and significance of campus landscape in a new perspective.This paper categorizes the campus landscape of Hunan First Normal University into six categories using the method of imageology:image, visual, perception, spirit and word. And starting from the three key words of image, text and ideology, the paper studies the forming and development of campus culture in a new angle, drawing the following conclusions:Campus landscape takes an overall view. The image of Hunan First Normal University’s campus culture has developed from concept into life. The text manifests obvious symbolic features, analyzing the problems and signs of the south college’s campus culture in the perspective of ideology, and uses’image conversion’in the construction of new campus landscape. It not only shows the cultural image of campus landscape, but also discussed the applicability of image in the construction of campus landscape.Campus landscape starts from image, historical analysis based on Hunan culture, forming cultural heritage and geographical characteristics of the millennial college, developing the red spirit, and the young scholar spirit, altogether forming the campus landscape image of Hunan First Normal University.Campus landscape starts from text, combining Chinese and western space elements, featuring isomerism, forming a campus layout of western shape with eastern space. The main colors of the landscape are grey, blue, green, and white. The main materials are brick, wood and rock, making the overall campus culture of Hunan First Normal University, south campus different from other Universities but is also protected and developed. Couplets, stone inscription and plaque records the history, culture. Teaching and life of Hunan First Normal University, expressing them symbolically with the landscape, strengthening the teachers and students’ sense of identity of the campus culture, embodying he campus landscape with written form, enhancing people’s impression of the campus culture and history of Hunan First Normal University.Out of ideology, and after analysis, there are three major problems in the campus landscape:space fragment, style disorder and culture loss. Then suggests was put forward for the improvement of construction, garden and spirit. Using the method of’image conversion’, the landscape features in the ancient campus was inherited by the new campus in the design, and combining the campus culture, a brand new campus landscape was created.On the whole, the form of Hunan First Normal University campus landscape is abundant with deep connotation, with Hunan culture being its pulse, red spirit being its bone, and construction, garden, written culture and the like elements being its fresh. In the society advancing with times, campus culture should continue to be protected and developed.
