Compared to the ship sailing in the waves and sailing in calm water, ship resi stance, rolling moment, the larger the total longitudinal strength etc will change, and the ship with different speed in different wave period, wave forms water wit h different when the ship performance will be very different place. A large num ber of ship accidents have shown a ship sailing the waves during the most deva stating factors, so it has great practical significance for ship motion in waves res ponses were analyzed. In this paper, based on actual statistics Bohai Sea, the second-order Stokes reg ular waves and irregular waves of simulation, and select Ship in 24 state and 30 speed sailing on the sea state four waves as numerical examples Calculation of navigation state and transient wave surface. Through the establishment of three-dimensional finite element model of basin and ships, were working to solve the corresponding condition. The main output of the calculation results include the x-direction by the pressure hull surface flow chart force and x, y-axis moment, fre e wavefront state, the flow field and the like.In this paper, the results for analysis and found that the case of waves of diff erent types at the same speed, but the same average wave height x axial forces mean broadly similar, but irregular waves hull stress amplitude was significantly larger than regular wave amplitude, and The maximum instantaneous force increa se significantly; irregular waves hull stress amplitude variation than regular wave s the hull force amplitude change is more intense. Hull x-axis torque maxima ar e very similar, but larger floating range torque high seas; float range torque at 1 ow sea state is very small, basic fluctuate around the mean, y-axis torque curve was no significant difference, the whole is very similar.
