With the growth of auto production, every year will produce a large number of scrap tires. Solid waste pollution caused by waste tires has become increasingly severe. So we need to find a kind of environmentally friendly solutions. Rubber asphalt technology will be an effective solution to solve the problem. Considering the high mixing temperature and the construction technology is more difficult to control, therefore, with the combination of warm mix asphalt technique, we hope the two technologies complementary advantages and get a kind of green environmental protection solution.This research is in view of the rubber asphalt with the combination of technique of warm mix asphalt. Synthetic zeolite was used as foaming agent for asphalt mixture to study pavement performance of foamed warm mix asphalt mixture.Firstly, the basic performance parameters of rubberized asphalt was determined. Asphalt which take part in different parameters of the zeolite compared with ordinary rubberized asphalt was test ed by DSR and BBR in order to determin the temperature additive on the influence of the high and low temperature performance of asphalt and select the best parameters. The results showed that the best mixing amount of the foaming agent is 3% of asphalt quality. After adding zeolite the high and low temperature stability of asphalt were improved.Then the rubberized asphalt mixtures design method was studied through the current technical specifications for construction of asphalt mixture and construction technology of rubber asphalt mixture’s guide. The mineral aggregate gradation curve was determined based on the aggregate screening test. The optimum asphalt content was determined by Marshall specimen volume parameters which compacted in different asphalt content. According to the voids of Marshall specimen mixed under different temperature with the gradation and the optimum asphalt content determined before, rubber asphalt mixture mixing temperature was determined. The results shew that under the condition of the same volume index, the mixing temperature of the warm mix rubberized asphalt was 15℃ lower than the hot mix asphalt.In addition, road performance of warm mix rubberized asphalt mixtures was verified. Through the bending test, rutting test and the freeze-thaw splitting test, low temperature crack resistance, high temperature stability and water stability of warm mix rubberized asphalt mixtures were verified. The results show ed that the water stability, high temperature stability and low temperature crack resistance of warm mix rubberized asphalt mixtures can satisfy the requirements of specification, but the water stability and high temperature stability decreased. The low temperature crack resistance increased.Finally, the economic and environmental benefits of warm mix rubberized asphalt were analyzed. From the aspects of energy consumption, the emissions of harmful gases and so on, analyzed the economic and environmental benefits of foamed warm mix rubberized asphalt mixtures.
