This thesis is the main part of the project which named "The construction of scientific research base that the design of micro-grid platform in 2013".Nowadays, due to the energy crisis and environmental problems continuing to increase, more and more domestic experts and scholars have put a research direction in the new power generation. Combined with the practical problems that power supply shortage of some remote mountainous area, and the hot topic that micro-grid in family is putted forward. On the hot background, we construct the micro-grid platform in the training room of a university in Beijing to simulate in power lack in the remote mountainous area or in the family with a new mode of supplying power spontaneously for using.Firstly, according to the function of the micro grid platform, combined with the surrounding environment condition, we plan the overall of the power supply platform. Choosing clean energy including wind, solar and hydrogen fuel as sources of micro-grid platform, choosing lead-acid battery for energy storage, and the batteries are charged in a reasonable manner by the controller. All kinds of load in the training gain power from the battery through the inverter. Then select the equipments of the micro-grid and complete the construction of the actual work. Based on the successful commissioning of the system operation, realize the practical function of supplying power in the training room.Then the paper describes the design of the micro-grid monitoring system. The thesis is simulated in power supply shortage of some remote mountainous area, so it is so important that monitor the system away from the equipment. According to the actual situation of the power supply platform, we design the whole hardware architecture of the monitoring system, and select the sensor, transmitter, data acquisition card. Finally the monitoring system on PC is divided into four parts (DAQ card’s communication, controller’s communication, the data preservation in real time and monitoring interface) to the program development through the Lab VIEW development environment.After the micro-grid power supply platform running for a period of time, we observe the data stored in the database. Then find due to the uncertainty of wind and solar energy, when the output voltage of the wind turbine and solar panels are lower than the voltage of batteries, they can’t charge the batteries, as a result, the energy are wasted. And if the batteries are over discharged, the inverter will stop working, then can’t supply power. Thus we put forward to optimize the design of wind-solar controller. Firstly to select the topology structure of main circuit, design the hardware circuit, including the boost circuit, drive circuit, unloading circuit, brake circuit, control circuit, communication circuit and so on. Then design the controller’s software implementation, including the main program, battery charging management program, PWM signal generation program, A/D conversion program and communication program. Finally through Proteus software simulating, the battery charging main circuit can be verified. And through Keil and Proteus software simulating, the function of the control circuit can be verified.Finally, the PCB is designed according to the schematic diagram of the controller. And after printing and the component welding process, then download the program to the control circuit, to complete the development of the low power wind-solar controller. Use existing equipment of the laboratory to set up a low power wind-solar hybrid power supply system. Through testing the function of controller, including low voltage charging and main power switching, it is proved that the controller can achieve predetermined functions.
