| The North Metro of Jurong City was planned as the the new growth point of economic development by municipal government. With the accelerating process of urbanization, the underlying surface area of city has been changed, a large number of original natural landscape was replaced by impervious surfaces (concrete roads, buildings, etc.)For this reason, the penetration of rainwater was blocked and the infiltration of rainwater was reduced, at the same time, the regulation and storage capacity of rain was reduced, for the above reasons, the water cycle of original ground surface was destroyed.Due to the development of urbanization, the possibility of floods and flood losses are greatly improved and flood threat is more serious when the same storm occurs.Researches of the development activities to reduce impact on the flood and flood prevention measures have been necessary.The northern town of Jurong is Regional in this paper, introduced the research status of urban flood management and urban stormwater runoff calculation methods and models, according to the basic overview of Jurong, it analyzed the flood disaster characteristics and problems of flood control in the city after urbanization. Storm Water Management Model was used to analyze the process design of rainwater, and used the method of jointing operation the pond sludge and reservoirs to conduct the hydrologic and hydraulic calculation. The main results were as follows:(1)The overviews and calculation principles of SWMM model were summarized, according to the underlying surface conditions and terrain features of the northern town in Jurong. Along with method and parameter optimization, Jurong city’s SWMM model was established.(2) The different return periods of rainfall runoff simulation results in northern town of SWMM model were analyzed. Due to the development of urbanization, the river channel characteristic changes, a large surface area hardening lead to increased impervious area, and runoff resistance becomes smaller, so that storm peak flow changes. The impact of urbanization imperviousness underlying factors and slope change on surface runoff of s7 area was analyzed.(3) The effectiveness of rainfall runoff for cuts about low impact development techniques was explored, the sunken green space and green roofs were used by S7 in the paper, the use of LID measures after the impact of urbanization on runoff compared for different periods were analyzed, operating results of the evaluation about LID techniques provides an effective means and methods for the future.(4) The method of jointing operation the pond sludge and reservoirs was used to calculate Beishan Reservoir spillway’s level and flow. According to the characteristics and boundary conditions of the river, the river conditions was calculated, and presented six different flood prevention programs. Finally, the best option was selected according to data analysis. |
