For the study of stress wave propagation characteristics of traditional circular section piles, there has been a relatively mature theoretical foundation at home and abroad. Based on the above theory, spatial axisymmetric model is used to build a cone section pile model and DX pile model whose time-domain velocity curves are contrasted with that of other type of piles. The best pick-up position of the cone section pile and the wave field snapshot of conical pile and DX pile are given. At last, time-domain velocity curves of conical section piles with different deficiencies are calculated and analyzed.Bearing plate location, size, thickness of different DX piles are given, and then transient dynamic response at top of 3-D DX pile model is calculated, and lastly the influence of changing the DX bearing plate on time-domain velocity curve is discussed. This article also discusses the impact of the resonance frequency to the conical section pile and DX pile in 3-D axisymmetric model. And variation characteristics of velocity amplitude spectrum curve and admittance curve are obtained after changing conical pile parameters.Because of pile types studied in this paper are less used in the country currently and the collection of measured curve data has some difficulty, therefore, this article can only study it theoretically and a large number of actual cases are needed to study its role in engineering practice.
