The production process of the modern industry is an orderly process, in which the relationship is perplexing between the interlocking variables. The fluctuations of the process variable often change the multiple variables. The phenomenon of mutual interference between variables is known as coupling. The process of eliminating the coupling is known as decoupling.The coupling is a general phenomenon in the process of industrial production. The process control is higher required in the production of the modern industry, therefore, a production device often sets up a number of control circuits to stabilize the controlled parameters, the increased control circuits will have a coupling effect on each other. It is almost impossible that one input controls one output, which constitutes a "coupling" system. Due to the coupling effect, the system is often difficult to control and the process is not smooth for a long time, the performance is very poor.Decoupling control is a new control algorithm, which purpose is to find out a suitable control rule of eliminating the coupling relations of the control circuits, so that one output is under the control of one input. Decoupling control is an effective measure to the system control of multivariable in the fields of iron and steel, petroleum, chemical industry, light industry, machinery, military industry and so on.This paper focused on dual chamber reheating furnace temperature, the temperature coupling will occur when the coupling hole of dual chamber furnace is opened. The system collected the temperature of dual chamber by Pt100, A/D、D/A conversion between input and output was in progress through the data acquisition card PCI-1711, the upper computer established control system by the configuration software MCGS, the thyristor acted as the output control device, the method of diagonal matrix was used in the decoupling control of dual chamber temperature.In this paper, the present situation of decoupling control at home and abroad is introduced firstly, a system plan and the design of hardware and software followed, a series of experiments were carried out using the control system including the identification of controlled object, the PID control, as well as the decoupling control of temperature, a good control effect was obtained, finally the decoupling the control system was put forward to improve opinion and prospect.
