At present ,most of the industrial reheating furnaces are at the state of high fuel consumption and serious pollution in china. It is important to raise heat efficiency of furnace and bring down the environment pollution. The target of my thesis is mainly to design the combustion control system of industry reheating furnace which based on the advanced control method.Two points are focused on this paper. Firstly, the control algorithm and control laws of the system were designed and realized. We discussed the theory and engineering realization of Dahlin algorithm which applied to the pure lag control system, the Fuzzy Logic Control was paid more attention. A design method of the Fuzzy-PID controller is presented here. This controller combines Fuzzy control with PID control, performs the PID parameters self-tuning in the control system. The results of simulation shows that our work is feasible and suitable. Secondly, the embed system with the core of 80C196 is designed. What's more ,a small system with keyboard input and Liquid Crystal Display is designed for the system which has the function of signal adjusting, data collecting, keyboard controlling, data computing. The design of the hardware and software are described in detail. And some practical hardware and software reliability measures of embedded system are introduced .The research work was closely connected to the practical application, and during the research, we got the general data and information which can be used by the study of other reheating furnace.
