Virtual spectrum analyzer to measure wide-band coverage, real-time seamless capture bandwidth, multi-trigger mode, memory depth deep, can be carried out simultaneously in the frequency domain, time domain and modulation domain analysis, signal analysis capabilities to provide a variety of communication standards, the system has functional expansion and upgrade capabilities, can solve the problem of multi-standard spectral analysis. The thesis mainly expounds the spectrum analyzer upper software realization method.This paper introduces the overall structure of the virtual spectrum analyzer to analyze the modern communications test field urgent need for a virtual spectrum analyzer and elaborated based on Visual C ++ 6.0 development platform, Windows operating system’s virtual spectrum analyzer upper software key technologies.Virtual spectrum analyzer top software application framework structures have been completed, the hardware correctly receive the uploaded data, already have the frequency domain, time domain and part of the demodulation analysis capabilities, can display a variety of signal analysis graphical spectrum, spectrum, constellation diagrams, etc. in the design process, I deeply appreciate the importance of software frameworks. The initial design of the project, when a reusable, flexible system of loosely coupled software for instruments such long development cycles, complex software functions, the efficiency improvement is obvious.For the actual development process, I encountered many difficulties. Especially in the instrument calibration, the lack of relevant information, many methods are through a lot of time and manpower to research and testing, trial and error and trying to accomplish. And as monitoring instruments, their work is extremely demanding stability requirements, long-term continuous operation, must take into account a variety of situations. Therefore, the software for a variety of abnormal conditions, did a lot of protection measures, to complete self-recovery and a certain degree of error diagnostics. Constantly on the original program to update and improve long-term, final design software calibration methods and instruments have been fully mature.
