As a kind of warehouse system for access, automated storage and retrieval systems are widely used in many fields, such as product storage, distribution, and production during transportation. Nowadays, with a highly developed industry, the demand for automated storage and retrieval systems are increasingly urgent, however, the cost of investment of an automated storage and retrieval system is very high. Therefore, before investing, most companies will first require a system model of solutions, as well as test the system feasibility, stability and correctness of the system model of solutions, in which the most important part if the entire solution is that the warehouse layout design and scheduling control algorithm design. The paper relies on a power Li-ion battery manufacturer, aims to design a general multi-AGV automated storage and retrieval system scheduling control algorithm solution. Mainly focus on the optimization of the scheduling and control process of the order picking, which is concerned as the most consumption part of the system operation. The order picking process could divide into two pivotal parts, order batching and route planning strategy.At the first part of the scheduling and control algorithm designing, this paper described the traditional order batching process and their existing problems. Also introduced the improved tabu search algorithm in order batch process. By modeling of the problem, different application condition analysis, and different conditions comparative experiment, the experimental results shows that the algorithm performance good in the application of order batching problems. In the second part of the algorithm designing, this paper analyzes the route planning and scheduling problem during transport process, and applied hybrid genetic algorithm to a batched order picking AGV route planning. The application of an improved gene encoding method eliminated the individual genes revision process in the solving of AGV routing problem. Also proposed the joint modeling of order batching and path planning, and designed algorithms based on the model to achieve the order batching problem with the path planning problem solutions simultaneously. Again improved the warehouse layout, making the transport path selection process to become more flexible, simulation experiments based in the above conditions, the result works well. In the last article of the second part, this paper abstract the storage and transportation channel as nodes and edges, using a time window constraints to limit the occupancy timing nodes, designed a multi-AGV transportation timing planning.According to the scheduling control algorithms and research background, finally, the article describes the design and implementation of an automated warehouse management software system to process information of a Li-ion battery warehouse. Describes the system software requirement analysis, design process, and describes the design method of transport scheduling module and transport control module in detail, and finally, describe the software development environment and development framework.
