The Design And Implementation Of The Airfield Lighting Maintenance & Management System

The flight assisting light system is the visual navigation equipment which effectively makes sure the plane takes off,lands and slides smoothly at night or under complex weather conditions. It has developed from providing visual indication and guidance signal for the aircraft flying at night in the past to being used with landing system, which can ensure the safe operation of the aircraft in the daytime and night or under other extreme conditions. Nowadays, with the rapid development of aviation industry,the quality of the aircraft has improved continuously and the airfield lighting system has also become more complex.Then there are more equipments required to be maintained and more parameters required to be meaured. So higher request has been put forward for its running and maintenance management.Aiming at this problem,with the help of the computer science, network communication and modern communication technology, a set of airport lighting operation and maintenance management system is designed.This system is a relatively independent comprehensive system which is combined with the actual needs of the airport,and based on the airfield lighting monitoring system.It aims to create a software platform to manage the running and the maitenance of the navigation lighting equipment,expanding and improving the airfield lighting monitoring system management functions and the automation level of airport lighting system management and maintenance.This system can be used as not only functional auxiliary airfield lighting monitoring system, but also office management software operated independently.This system is developed for the light station management which is specifically in the light of the "civil airport lighting system operation and maintenance procedures" promulgated by the General Administration of civil aviation of China on august 10,2009.It fills the blank in the airport management at home.At present, the development of aids to navigation lights monitoring system of airport has experienced from simple to complex process, from low to high, and the function is more and more perfect.To ensure that the airfield lighting system more stable operation, maintenance easier, with the help of powerful computer technology, reliable and real-time centralized monitoring of system equipment, greatly improving the system management level, is the inevitable trend of China’s airport lighting device further to modernization.
