Environmental pollution, energy crisis and other issues, pave the way for the development of electric vehicles, besides some outstanding electric cars like the Tesla electric vehicles spawn electric car research. As the electric vehicle drive motor, switched reluctance motor vehicles has excellent performance than any other motor. The integration of electric vehicles can improve the performance of electric vehicles, so integration design of switched reluctance motor drive controller for electric vehicle is very meaningful.This paper analyzes the basic principles of switched reluctance motor drive controller and the integrated control system of the drive controller, and I determine the design content combined with modern design and proposed experimental procedure combined with the actual situation. The first step of which is related to the analysis of the design method with integrated design, including control circuit, power amplifier, power supply, sensors, thermal, electromagnetic compatibility, etc., do the theoretical preparation for subsequent experiments.Combine the above analysis, I achieved the integration of design on the second step, namely build the preliminary experimental platform and completed the detailed design of the hardware system, hardware system includes a control circuit design based on Infineon XMC4500, its rich resources to fully meet the requirements of complex control in the motor; power amplifier circuit design, in which I selected IGBT for power tubes and HCPL316 J for driven chip, and the power circuit has isolated, over-current detection and other protection; power supply design, in which I select the three-phase rectifier as the main power source, and implement the pre-charge protection design; sensor design, which includes the select and signal processing with current sensors and position encoders; then complete thermal design of the power amplifier circuit and anti-interference design of key signal for stability and reliability of system; then analyze the performance of the hardware.Finally, test the hardware systems of experimental platform, such as the real-time of closed-loop, power protection, anti-jamming design,the current loop at rated load and other aspects, the test results basically reached a preliminary test requirements and prepare for the subsequent integration design.
