With the process of modernization,petroleum reserves are becoming less and environmental pollution is getting worse.The majority of consumers are attracted by electric vehicle since its appearance as a green transportation.Zero-emission,energy-saving and environmental protection and many other advantages that electric vehicles possess are in line with the concept of low-carbon transport.Therefore,the prospects of electric vehicles are very bright.Switched reluctance motor is a speed motor with the development of power electronics technology,computer control technology.It is especially suitable for electric vehicles because it has a simple structure,flexible control,low cost,high efficiency and high reliability.Switched reluctance motor control system for electric vehicle has been explored from control strategy,hardware,software and other aspects based on the master chip ds PIC30F4011.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)On the basis of understanding the basic structure,operating principles and mathematical model of a switched reluctance motor,commonly used control methods are given and a simulation platform is built to complete simulation experiments through Matlab/Simulink.(2)Hardware circuit of switched reluctance motor control system for electric vehicle is designed with Microchip's ds PIC30F4011 as the control core.It is comprised of power conversion and voltage detection circuit,main power circuit and its drive circuit,rotor position signal detection circuit,speed reference circuit,current detection and protection circuit,etc.(3)Each module of the entire system is programmed by C language under MPLAB IDE environment combining with hardware circuit.In the software design of switched reluctance motor control system for electric vehicle,block diagram to achieve is introduced,including the main program and initial settings,Timer1 periodic interrupt,over-current protection,current chopping control,etc.A series of related experiments was set up to verify the operation of electric vehicles in control system on a three-phase 12/8 pole switched reluctance motor with output power of1.5k W.The performance was good which lay a foundation for practical application and promotion and provide a certain reference value.
