The implementation of the power equipment condition based maintenance is an important method for improving the safety, reliability and economy of the equipment and power network operation.. According to the domestic and foreign condition based maintenance trend of development achievements and experience, combined with the unit of variable demand for electrical maintenance, to carry out condition based maintenance, maintenance, monitoring equipment, health status, which is the very urgent work.In this paper, the condition based maintenance of the situation at home and abroad, the historical development and the requirements for the development of the software system analysis, determine the basic content of the electric equipment state inspection, including equipment management, online data management, offline data management, charged data management, run the data pipe, operation and maintenance of data management, standard management, data platform query function analysis of statistical monitoring system, condition evaluation and fault diagnosis, risk assessment, maintenance strategy, then the use of UML modeling method, completed the system function description. In the design phase of the software system, in accordance with the modular design principle, the offline data module, online data module, information analysis and statistic module, equipment condition evaluation and decision module main function modules of software were detailed design, and the use of tool PowerDesigner database structure analysis and design work. To overhaul the relevant personnel to train the system to quickly contact the learning status overhaul, improve the overall level of the individual and the company.Through standardization of management of all kinds of variable electrical equipment, facilities, establish online platform data, offline data platform, charged data platform, operation and maintenance of data platform, of the system of monitoring data is uploaded to a unified data platform, to formulate a unified data format for storing and accessing, and for the establishment of the equipment condition assessment and diagnosis provide solid data base service. The condition based maintenance is a complicated systematic project. It involves all aspects of the problem. It is not only a maintenance for a single equipment. Need to scientific and reasonable planning, collection of aspects of the data, statistics, analysis, and so on.. Finally, the equipment status evaluation as the cornerstone, in order to improve the health level of equipment, optimization equipment maintenance strategy as the target. Continuous improvement and improve substation equipment periodic maintenance strategy, through equipment condition evaluation and equipment failure of risk assessment, to fully grasp the equipment state, and thus the development of targeted maintenance strategy, in order to protect the change electric equipment healthy level, reduce the maintenance cost, prolong the service life of equipment, and improve the level of power system reliability, the realization of the economic benefits of the enterprise.
