With the rapid development of optical arbitrary waveform generation technology, accurate measure optical arbitrary waveform can reveal the characteristics of waveform generation, the waveform transmission and waveform transformation process and improve the quality of optical arbitrary waveform generation. Therefore, to explore the excellent performance of the optical arbitrary waveform measurement scheme has become an important research topic. Frequency resolved optical gating method can measure the amplitude and phase of opticalarbitrary waveform, the device is simple and easy to implement. For arbitrary waveform, it needs to generate the signal light using three correlation method to accurately measure the chirp information. Therefore, this paper puts forward a kind of optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology of FROG based on correlation three method, it realizes the accurate measurement of the amplitude and phase of optical arbitrary waveform, and the working performance are analyzed, the specific research contents are as follows:(1) The research significance of optical arbitrary waveform measurement technology is described. The research status about optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology at home and abroad are reviewed.(2) A new scheme for optical arbitrary waveform measurement using optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology of FROG based on correlation three method is proposed. By using the optical Kerr effect and the cross phase modulation, combining with principal component generalized projects(PCGP) algorithm based on matrix, the theory model of the scheme is established.(3) By using the software of Matlab, the proposed optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology of FROG based on correlation three method is simulated and investigated. In the numerical simulation, the measurement of intensity and phase of optical arbitrary waveform are both realized.The impacts of background noise, sampling rate, the shape, the door gate function strength and N value are simulated and invesgated.(4) A new scheme for optical arbitrary waveform measurement using optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology of blind-FROG based on correlation three method is proposed. By using the optical Kerr effect and the cross phase modulation, combining with principal component generalized projects(PCGP) algorithm based on matrix, the theory model of the scheme is established. By using the software of Matlab, the proposed optical arbitrary waveformmeasurement technology of blind-FROG based on correlation three method is simulated and investigated. In the numerical simulation, the measurement of intensity and phase of optical arbitrary waveform are both realized.
