| Vehicle interior sound quality is one of important research content about Vehicle Environment. It affects the feelings of people, which is one part of Automobile Comfort. Vehicle Environment also affects People driving operation of the machine, which is related to Car Security. Masking effect is an important psychological acoustic phenomenon. Psychological acoustic phenomena can be use to build sound environment reasonably and actively and to meet people’s specific acoustic environmental quality requirements. This paper intended city bus for the typical models, and analyzed unsteady time domain dynamic characteristics of steady-state conditions inside the car masking sound environment. Acoustical masking effect also can be used to study the vehicle dynamic voice sound environmental quality analysis and optimization problems. The main content of this paper as follows:Four point noise signals inside the buses were collected under the two car National Standards. Masking sound was played in different sound pressure level and sound masking. At last,28 voice samples were collected.Put forward three subjective evaluation indicators about noisy, acceptable degree and Anxiety degrees.24 subjective evaluation personnel were dealt with in 28 sound environment with numerical estimate method under the environment of real vehicle subjective evaluation. Subjective index score was gathered statistics in each acoustic environment, and drew a scatter diagram.The time domain dynamic parameter values were calculated. Made scatter plot and correlated analysis for subjective and objective index score value. Partition was made for acoustic function in the buses. The weight of each parameter vector was determined. Set up comprehensive evaluation model in different functional zones. Input various parameters sound environment value into membership functions and get the evaluation matrix.Put forward the vehicle sound quality optimization measures under the specific buses condition. Reset the car acoustic system. Content and control of the car speaker were guided under the mathematical models of sound quality. The sound quality of car was improved in unsteady sound environment.
