Power system consists of power generation, transmission, transformation, distribution and consumption of the five sectors constituted the core of the transformer substation equipment, its operational status is directly related to the security of the power system, but also an important consideration factor in the power system reliability indices. The reliability is an important indicator of a transformer is the dielectric loss. To ensure the safe operation of the power system, we must strengthen the monitoring of substation main transformer insulation, insulating dielectric loss measurement is essential preventive experimental test project. By measuring the dielectric loss may reflect a series of defects in the insulation of electrical equipment, such as insulation damp, dirty oil or impregnated material deterioration or degradation of insulation in the air-gap discharge occurred. Through online monitoring technology, according to the data acquisition cycle to achieve continuous acquisition device status, and data analysis methods based on dielectric loss data for scientific analysis, timely diagnosis, prediction analysis of the system based on the parameters to achieve early detection of problems early warning, thereby improving device reliability.
