Currently, the significance of reactive power compensation already received widespread attention, most of the reactive power compensation equipment is widely used in substations, large power machinery and other high-pressure industrial areas, to improve power quality, enhance system stability played an important role. However, with the continuous development of civilian science and technology, all kinds of everyday inductive load increasing, therefore, the power supply to the district represented by low- end power compensation equipment no research has become a very important issue new meaning.This paper will present the main uses more advanced STATCOM(Static Synchronous Compensator, STATCOM) with conventional thyristor switched capacitor can(TSC) combined method, the system combines a fast response, regulating smooth, low- cost features.the paper mainly done the following work:(1)analysis and comparison of the various types of reactive power compensation scheme, the final selection of a hybrid reactive power compensation method TSC + STATCOM ’s;(2)focuses on the analysis of the reactive power compensation device control strategy, in which the mathematical modeling of STATCOM and the control method, and control strategies TSC conducted in-depth research, presented to the TSC-based control of reactive power compensation amount, supplemented by the general idea of STATCOM control voltage control;(3) through the analysis of TSC ’s traditional nine-area diagram of the control strategy, pointed out the shortcomings of the proposed fuzzy control strategy more reasonable;(4) by comparing the direct control of STATCOM current law and the current indirect control method two methods to determine the current indirect control method of controlling improvement Act;(5)Finally, based on DSP TMS320F2812 chip for reactive power compensation circuit tester hardware preliminary design, and the entire compensation system for simulation results show that the device reaches the lower line losses, improve power quality, and enhance the stability of the purpose of the system is running...
