| Since entering the 21st century, with the development of aircraft industry, the coverage area of previous ADS-B receiver at ground has been limited with growing days and it is also limited by topography. But if ADS-B receiver is installed at satellite by which real time monitoring can be made, the limitation will be perfectly removed. Compared with receiver at ground whose coverage radius is 160km, satellite-based ADS-B has a great advantage for its coverage radius is 3200km. Aiming at this condition, this paper analyzes the system performance of satellite-based ADS-B and makes a conclusion that the system is available. In this paper, firstly, a simulation system and demonstration stage are built. At demonstration stage, the moving track of planes and satellites are presented by 3D and all 1090ES messages and UAT messages that planes transmit are recorded, which pave a way to imitate 1090ES ADS-B message and UAT ADS-B message.Secondly, in this paper, with 1090ES model, a high sensitivity narrow-band baseband signal processing algorithms is proposed, mathematical analysis model calculating success rate is showed and feasible study is finished for calculation of ADS-B message. With UAT model, this paper reaches a series of message bite information by message’s synchronous detection, CPFSK modulation and demodulation calculation and RS coding and decoding for ADS-B message calculation, which provide data for subsequent message tests. Finally, after getting a series of bite message transmitted from data calculation model, test result of ADS-B message and test possibility of broadcast information of planes are calculated by data calculation model with 1090ES model and UAT model. And the whole performance analysis of ADS-B system at satellite is finished. As a result, a conclusion that the system is feasible is made. |
